"We had an excellent
stay in a beautiful hotel with many outstanding features. All public rooms were
light and airy and we much appreciated the open fires. The food was of fine quality
and the dining areas peaceful. We thank you for the complimentary champagne &
chocolates for our wedding anniversary, plus the complimentary meal which was
not expected but gratefully received. We decided to purchase a figurine from the
hotel which was noticed by your staff to be defective. We were advised that contact
had been made with the sculptor and arrangements made to have a pristine replacement
sent forward to us. For this we are very grateful."

"Very friendly welcome.
The room was spacious and bright. The service was excellent i.e. when I came back
late the bar was closed. I asked for a glass of wine and the bar was re-opened
to accommodate my request. This was done with a smile. Quick check-out. Great
location between the airport and town. I will stay at the Capital Hotel on my
next visit to Edinburgh and recommend it to my colleagues within the airline industry."

"The room was clean and beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The
food was excellent and the atmosphere of the hotel was very warm. My sister wished
to take the bathroom home with her - it was that clean and lovely (great deep
bathtub). We only stayed overnight, and both myself and my sister wished we had
stayed a couple of nights as we were so relaxed after our visit. The value for
money for the meal astounded both of us. Will definately stay again!"

"Efficient
friendly service, comfortable room and bed, clean surroundings and local to Abertay
University Halls of Residence. Enjoyed the non-obtrusive but friendly staff, the
comfortable surroundings with especially comfortable bed. Although I arrived too
late for an evening meal the breakfast offered was very comprehensive with plenty
of choice. The hotel is also very central to the centre of Dundee and the area
of Hillside where I was visiting. A more comprehensive map of the entire street
network of Dundee would have been very useful before I booked although the instructions
given were very clear. Altogether an enjoyable experience and I will definitely
be staying in this Hotel whenever in Dundee."

"Friendly and relaxed atmosphere,
very welcoming. Very comfortable place to stay, lovely surrounding grounds, good
location for exploring Dartmoor. Excellent breakfast. Many lovely personal touches
which made our stay even more special such as chocolates on our pillows at night
and for my partner a little selection of luxury toiletries to choose from. All
these touches really made Brook House stand out from lots of other places we have
