Room4UEurope is an online hotel directory managed & produced by Pixel Loom Design Limited, allowing visitors to browse a hand-picked selection of hotels and guest houses in England, Scotland Wales, Ireland and now International Europe. Room4UEurope's booking partners, Superbreaks Mini-Holidays (part of the International Holidaybreak PLC), Active Hotels Limited and Venere Limited also allow secure online reservation services and act as official booking partners for a staggering 5000 hotels in Europe and the United Kingdom. Nearly all the room prices quoted at Room4UEurope are exclusive Internet only discount prices secured by ourselves and consolidated by our booking partners with the hotels directly. Like any good brochure, Room4UEurope prides itself on bringing together some of the very best room rates from a solid variety of reputable travel merchants. Because many of our prices reflect exclusive online discounts, we do not presently take bookings by telephone. One of the benefits of the online industry is that bookings can be made direct to the source itself, keeping staffing costs down to a minimum. When you click on a hotel homepage you will be able to check availability and book online with the official real-time booking engine for that hotel.

When you book a hotel using Room4UEurope you will using the official online booking representative for that particular hotel. Hotel staff take delivery of your reservation details electronically, based on the information you provide here. Instant email confirmations are sent with each reservations allowing you to confirm or cancel the booking. The mail also includes travel details and directions.

Facts:
1. Entering credit card details with sites verified by VeriSign and Thawte is perfectly safe.
2. It is only the hotel that is granted access to your credit card details. VeriSign and Thawte handle ALL necessary online credit and debit card bank clearances. Your details are handled exclusively by these merchants.
3. No personal details or account details are retained by Room4U or any of our partners beyond the expiry of your stay.
4. If you book a hotel through our Activehotels booking partner, your card is debited by the hotel ONLY upon completion of your stay.
5. For added security both Thawte and VeriSign may ask for the security number on the back of your card to ensure safety against card fraud..

Are my credit card details secure?

Yes. - Room4UEurope's booking partners Superbreaks, Active Hotels Limited and Venere use secure servers to encrypt and protect all communication of personal details and credit card information between yourself and the Superbreak, Active Hotel and Venere reservation systems. Superbreak and Active Hotels secure server is authenticated and certificated by Thawte.com. Venere's secure server is authenticated and certificated by VeriSign.com. Your details are also protected under the Data Protection Act.

Secure booking on line
Both Room4UEurope and all her booking partners are committed to protecting your privacy and take our responsibilities regarding the security of your credit card information very seriously.

Active Hotels Ltd, Superbreaks and Venere - our marketing and technology partners, provide our online booking capability. When making a booking, your credit card information is sent to our partners via their secure server. They use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details so that your credit or debit card details cannot be read as they travel over the internet.

Your credit card information is then held on the secure database for only the duration of time it takes to allow us to process your booking and complete your stay. Your credit card data will be held no longer than 30 days after the end of the month of your departure from our hotel. To prevent unauthorised access and use of your information, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of your information, as required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998. Your credit card information can only be exchanged between you, our booking partners, and us.

Further information
Using a credit card may give you additional protection from fraud. Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, if you have a claim against the seller for breach of contract or misrepresentation, you may also have a claim against your credit card issuer. This applies to goods or services costing more than £100 for one item (but less than £30,000), even if you have only used your card to pay a deposit. Further advice can be obtained from your local trading standards department or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

In addition, all the major credit card companies, along with IBM, Netscape Communications, and many others, are committed to the continuing development of open standards, in order to further improve the security of online transactions.

Who will bill my card?

Room4UEurope is powered by the Superbreaks, Activehotels and Venere booking systems. When you book a Superbreaks managed property your bank statement will indicate payment to Superbreak.com. For Activehotel managed properties it will indicate payment to Activehotels. And so on.

When do I pay?

Superbreaks managed properties will debit your account as soon as you complete your reservation, with refunds available should you decide to cancel. Properties managed by Activehotels debit your account only on completion of stay, although you will be asked to provide your credit-card details during the reservation process by way of guarantee.

Privacy Policy

Our booking partners are committed to protecting your privacy, and take their responsibilities regarding the privacy of you information very seriously. They do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. This policy explains how they use any information and how we protect your privacy.

Active Hotels Ltd, Superbreaks and Venere, our marketing and technology partners, provide our online booking capability. When you book using the secure server, your information is sent to our partners secure servers, who offer the use of the best possible and latest secure server software (SSL) available, which encrypts all of your personal details. This means that your information, which includes your name, address, and credit or debit card number, cannot be read as it travels over the internet.

Cancellations
All our partners provide simple and easy cancellation procedures often up to 24 hours before arrival. Details on these procedures (including contact phone numbers and email addresses) are described in detail on the booking confirmation slip emailed to customers at the time of the orginal booking.
